Our Adirondack guide boat hardware has been reproduced from the hardware found on many of the antique guide boats in the collection of the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, NY. It is cast in Manganese Bronze for superior strength and both the side plates and pins are supplied in a burnished finish. The pins have a 1/2" diameter stainless steel shaft and fit a 1-3/8" or 1-1/2" oar. A set includes four straps and two pins. Pairs of straps or pins are also available.

Faithful reproductions of oars found on many of the older original Adirondack guide boats, ours are quite light and limber with an excellent flex. The design is commonly called the "Grant Pattern" and is truly one of the most beautiful products we make.

Our guide boat oars are usually supplied in soft maple with our superior varnish finish, but are also available in black cherry or white ash. Traditionally, they were made in 7-1/2' or 8' lengths but other lengths are available and we'll be glad to assist you in selecting the correct length for your boat.
