Wooden Boat Hook

The traditional bronze hook is set into a tapered 6-1/2’ or 8-1/2’ pole which is double varnished to protect it from the weather. Unlike most boat hooks, you'll be proud to leave this one on deck for people to see.

Our boat hooks are available in four choices of wood to complement any boat, shown to the right are Mahogany (left),Walnut (middle) ,or Ash (right),. and above, Douglas Fir. We generally find 6-1/2' is long enough for most boats.

The tapered handle is designed so the boat hook should float upright if dropped overboard.

We also make the US Coast Guard standard 12' untapered boat hook in ash, US Navy standard ash boat hooks, and can custom make any length.  We have made 16' and 18' mahogany boat hooks for "super yachts".  Call us for your special needs.
