Pack Baskets
Completely
handmade for us in Maine, these baskets are heirlooms!
Beginning with hand pounding the brown ash logs,
to the individual ornamental weaves, to the final
hand cutting of leather straps, each basket is
unique!
Available in a very limited supply, we offer
conventional pack baskets, covered baskets, and
trout and boat creels. In addition to the baskets
shown below we occasionally have, or can have
custom made, very special baskets in a 1/8" weave.

Offered in three styles, the traditional R series to the left is available
in 12", 16", and 18" sizes (the dimension is the depth of the basket).
The XL 16 (center) is 16" in depth
and has more of a "pear" shape, our most popular
basket, it is more costly because it takes longer
to make.
We occasionally
have OT series baskets (right),
the most time consuming to make, in 14", 16",
and 18". The 14" and 18" are
available with a hardwood hinged cover and leather
carrying handle. |
Made with the same exceptional Maine craftsmanship as our Pack Baskets shown above, these creels will last for generations!
